Calling (Cats in Season)
Queens that are not going to be mated, particularly the foreign breeds, are prone to frantic behaviour during the call. GiveĀ Scullcap & Valerian TabletsĀ at an administration of 2 tablets per 5kg bodyweight daily for one week to reduce anxiety in cats and keep them calm. During this period queens may lose their appetite and as a result condition and bodyweight may be affected.
