Interdigital Cysts in Dogs & Cats

These are soft fluid filled swellings between the toes rather than true cysts. Often the cause is unknown but they may be the result of something simple penetrating the skin, such as grass seed. They are often difficult to clear up and are prone to recur on a regular basis especially those not caused by a foreign body.

First of all make sure there is no obvious sign of anything having entered the skin, then bathe the area with Garlic Juice to clean away any dust or dirt and protect the area. Garlic & Fenugreek Tablets are used very effectively to treat minor infections of this type and should be given at the treatment dose until the cysts have completely disappeared.

In cases where they recur regularly it is advisable to continue to give the lower maintenance dose as a preventative measure and this will considerably reduce the frequency of recurrence.
