After three busy days at the NEC Birmingham, the Dorwest team are back after another brilliant PATS and we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to see us.
PATS is always one of the highlights of our Trade calendar. It gives us the chance to step away from emails and phone calls and spend some time catching up with our stockists, wholesalers, meeting new businesses and chatting with fellow pet care businesses from across the industry.
Catching up with familiar faces and meeting new ones
Whether you’ve stocked Dorwest for years or were discovering us for the first time, it was lovely to welcome so many of you onto Stand J50.
Jo, Kat and Bea were on hand throughout the show to answer questions, talk through our range and help retailers find the right products for their customers.
With special thanks to our existing stockists who stopped by to see us on the stand! Including Bubbles Pet Care (L-On-Sea), Purely Dogs, Bristol Raw Dog, Natural Treats and Raw4Pets plus it was great welcoming new stockists including The Dogs Dins Dins and My Dogify - a big welcome to the Dorwest family!
It was brilliant to speak to so many existing stockists, meet new retailers and chat about everything from seasonal support to merchandising and product selection.
Getting retailers ready for fireworks season
One of the biggest topics on our stand this year was, unsurprisingly, fireworks season.
We brought along our NEW Calming Product Pack, created to make it easier for retailers to stock and merchandise two of our bestselling calming products — Scullcap & Valerian Tablets and Valerian Compound — during one of the busiest times of year for calming support.
If you didn't get a chance to talk to us about preparing your store for fireworks season at the show, don't worry — our Trade team are always happy to help with product advice, merchandising and choosing the right stock for your customers.
The Dorwest tennis ball challenge 🎾
We couldn’t go to PATS without bringing a little Dorwest fun with us, so this year we took our tennis balls around the show and challenged some of our friends on other stands to put their juggling skills to the test.
Some took it very seriously. Some showed surprising hidden talent. And some… perhaps should stick to their day jobs!
A huge thank you to Natura Raw, Ruff & Tumble, Pet Product Marketing, Forthglade, Eden Pet Foods, Tug-E-Nuff, the Pet Industry Federation, Scamp & Paw and The Animal People Recruitment Company for getting involved and embracing the challenge.
It was a brilliant way to catch up with familiar faces, meet people across the industry and bring a bit of friendly competition to the show floor.
