How to make pumpkin cookies for your dog

How to make pumpkin cookies for your dog

Amy Matthews |

With autumn in full swing, there's no better time to treat your dog to some seasonal goodies!

These homemade pumpkin cookies are packed with natural ingredients like pumpkin puree and grated carrots, and a few teaspoons of our Tree Barks Powder for added digestive support. Not only are they easy to make, but they’re also a tasty snack that’ll have your dog wagging their tail for more!

Ingredients:
  • 55g grated carrots
  • 2tsp of Tree Barks Powder
  • 60g apple sauce (must not contain the sweetener Xylitol/birch sugar as this is toxic to dogs)
  • 145g canned pumpkin (or pure pumpkin puree)
  • 160g flour of your choice
  • 25g oats

Method:
  1. Heat your oven at 160 degrees
  2. Blend or whisk together your carrots, applesauce and pumpkin.
  3. Add into a bowl and add flour, Tree Barks Powder and oats and combine to begin forming a dough
  4. Roll of your dough on a floured surface until 1cm thick.
  5. Cut our as many shapes as you can with a cookie cutter
  6. Bake for 12 minutes in the oven, allow to cool and let your dog enjoy! 🐶
