• It is a herbal medicine for dogs containing two active ingredients Fenugreek seeds and essential oil of garlic.

• Licensed by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD).
• Can be given to pets daily to increase immune system resistance.

But don’t take our word for it, here is a review from Becci Hodge, a Labrador breeder who previously featured on ITV’s Puppy Secrets!
“We have used Dorwest Garlic & Fenugreek Tablets For Dogs for over 25 years and since starting our small kennel of Labradors on the daily dose, we have not had any problems with fleas or skin issues.

If there has been kennel cough reported locally to us, we have increased the daily dosage and even if our dogs have caught the bug, they seem to recover a lot quicker.
Our dogs free run daily in woodland, work out in a shoot in winter and compete in agility as well as show all round the country in breed, so if they get any minor grazes or injuries, we have no worry about any lasting effects.
We use the maintenance dose of this dog supplement routinely as it is a natural antibiotic, antiseptic, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory; with our new puppies starting on it from about 8 weeks of age and they stay on it all their life. There is a stock in the car so if we are away over night the dogs never miss out on the dose!”
Garlic and Fenugreek Tablets For Dogs can be fed daily to improve the health of your pet, as well as these essential daily dog supplements that we recommend for a health super-boost!

I swear by this for my dogs great all-rounder
Does this come in cream form?
Hello, the Garlic & Fenugreek is only sold in tablet form, however if it is the administration you are struggling with, you can crush the tablets into a powder and spread over the food. Hope this helps
Hi Rosemary, Yes we can definitely help. We have two licensed herbal medicines called Garlic & Fenugreek Tablets and Green Releaf Tablets. These are licensed for skin conditions and to help with allergies and should be given together as each products contain different herbs. If you’d like to go through these in more detail, do give us a call on 01308 897272 and one of our advisors will be happy to help 🙂
I’ve always heard and read that Garlic is toxic to dogs.
Hello. It is definitely not dangerous to give garlic to dogs, quite the opposite as this amazing herbs has many beneficial and therapeutic properties. We record any suspected adverse reactions or side effects from the use of our products and report them to the medicines authorities. We have been manufacturing and supplying two medicines containing garlic for over 60 years and during that time there have been virtually no adverse reactions to them. However, there is evidence that giving onions to dogs can affect their haemoglobin blood count and so should not be given to dogs. As garlic is from a similar botanical family some people have made the assumption that this also applies to garlic but this is not the case.
Garlic and Fenugreek Tablets and Garlic Tablets are both licensed herbal medicines that contain garlic. We report any cases of side effects or adverse effects and so can confidently say that we have not had any reports of anaemia relating to any of these products. This also means that the products have to adhere to certain quality and safety standards, so should be safe to give at the recommended doses. We are very confident that you can use these medicines at the treatment dose, or maintenance dose, indefinitely without any likelihood of problems occurring. Hope that helps- The Dorwest Team
Hi my Harry is a 11 month old over active (lol) boxer he has had a limp since March he had X-rays and nothing was found he’s very active bounding around the anti inflammatory the vets give help a little but they worry me with the side effects do you think your tablets will help
Hi Sue, the Garlic & Fenugreek can be beneficial due to its anti-inflammatory properties, however we may have other products that would be more suitable. We suggest considering the Glucosamine & Chondroitin to help support the other joints that take the re-distributed weight due to limping, great for active dogs as well! There is also our homoeopathic remedy Symphytum 15 that is used during the period following damage through strains and sprains and helps to support healthy ligaments and tendons. HI
I have purchased Garlic fenugreek tablets to help with anal gland infection. They were recommended and we were told to start with a treatment dose then drop to a maintenance dose. Can’t find any instructions on how much to give – can you help please? Is there anything else you recommend?
Many Thanks
Hi Rachel, the treatment dose when using the Garlic & Fenugreek is 2 tablets per 5-10kg, and the maintenance dose is 1 tablet per 5-10kg. These are a licensed herbal medicine for the relief of minor infection and so are beneficial to fight any minor infections that may occur in the anal area which can happen with prolonged blocking. Also due to their anti-inflammatory properties, they may be useful to help reduce inflammation of the anal glands and has been known to help lessen the recurrence of the issue. I have just purchased these tablets for my arthritic dog. He is 15 kg so by my calculations, could do with
2.5 tablets as an initial dose. The tablets don’t seem to be the kind I can halve, so am I better giving 2 or 3?
Hi Jessica, depending on whether you are giving the treatment or maintenance dose, for a 15kg dog the dose can vary from 3-6 tablets daily (either 1 tablets per 5kg for the maintenance dose, or 2 per 5kg for treatment dose). If you’d like more advice on the Garlic & Fenugreek Tablets or dosing, do give one of our advisors a call on 01308 897272 or drop us an email at advice@dorwest.com. The Dorwest Team
How to order?

Can you please advise on initial dosage of garlic and fenugreek and green releaf tablets for my two dogs
I is 12kg and has chronic inflammation of vagina and slight leakage of her bladder
1 is 16 kg and suffers with chronic itchy paws and pads
These tablets have been recommended for both.
For the 12kg dog, you would give 2-4 Garlic and Fenugreek Tablets and 2-4 Green Releaf Tablets per day for the first month (split between morning and evening). This can then be reduced to 1-2 Garlic and Fenugreek Tablets and 1-2 Green Releaf Tablets per day (split between morning and evening) for as long as needed. Which dose you use within these ranges is up to you. It may be that she needs the higher end of the Garlic and Fenugreek doses due to chronic inflammation.
For the 16kg dog, you would give 3-6 Garlic and Fenugreek Tablets and 3-6 Green Releaf Tablets per day for the first month. You can then reduce to 2-3 Garlic and Fenugreek Tablets and 2-3 Green Releaf Tablets per day for as long as necessary. You may find that over warmer months, you ned to give the higher end of the maintenance doses or even the treatment dose if the problem is made worse by pollen for example.
I have read in some reviews that these tablets can help with cysts / soft lumps. Is this correct and can you advise how they help please?
Many thanks
The Garlic and Fenugreek Tablets can help with sebaceous cysts and similar, although this is not one of their licensed uses so we cannot guarantee efficacy. Many people that have used them have noticed an improvement in the cysts and report a reduced recurrence of them, however we cannot guarantee the same effects in every case. They are licensed for helping to relive symptoms of skin conditions and have natural anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibiotic and antiviral properties. They also help to support the immune system and increase resistance to minor infections.
How much should I give for my 19kg dog? He suffers with itchy ears so I have started on 4 tablets of each a day. Is this enough for the treatment stage or should I increase it?
Hi Sarah – For his weight you can give 4-8 of each tablet per day for the first month and then reduce to 2-4 tablets per day after a month (can stay on a higher dose for longer if necessary). You could increase the current dose if you feel it is necessary. We recommend splitting the daily dose between morning and evening so that there is an even coverage throughout the day.
Hello,
Can I combine Garlic&Fenugreek, Turmeric and Easy Green daily to my 7kg 1yo Boston Terrier or is it too much? I am trying to build up immunity after my pup was vaccinated without my consent and flared up in rash and started loosing hairs right after.
I also give CBD oil and Aloe Vera, any contradictions? It is impossible to find a holistic vet in France who could help me.
Thanks a lot!
Hi Hana – Absolutely fine to give these three together as there are no known interactions between them. Since they're still very young and has flared up in a rash after being vaccinated, we would recommend using the Garlic & Fenugreek Tables and Green Releaf Tablets first then introduce the Turmeric Tablets a bit later.
Unfortunately, since the use of CBD oil in dogs is relatively new, we aren't able say if these products will have an interaction with this so it may be worth seeking further advice on this one 🙂
If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to contact us at advice@dorwest.com.
Can these Garlic and Fenugreek tablets be given instead of flea treatments/
Hi Maureen – The Garlic & Fenugreek Tablets work to deter fleas however, we would recommend speaking to a vet if you have any further queries.
Hi please let me know if they are recommended to prevent diabetes. Or just fenugreek on its own.
I have three year old husky puppies.
Thank you.
Hi Marcia – Unfortunately we do not have anything that would prevent diabetes. Diabetes can be caused by different factors including the genetics of the dog so we would advise following veterinary guidance and maintaining your dogs at healthy weights to reduce risk of obesity causing diabetes. We also do not have fenugreek on its own. I am sorry that we cannot be of more help.
