A dog’s mobility is vital to do all the things they love best whether it’s long walks, playing with their favourite toy or racing round the garden. Therefore keeping their joints healthy is paramount, and this can be achieved with simple measures such as a good diet containing nutritious foods, vitamins and supplements and maintaining a healthy weight.

Glucosamine
Healthy animals produce sufficient glucosamine which is an amino acid found in synovial fluid around joints to maintain healthy cartilage, but for older animals and following injury a little more is needed to keep joints mobile. Ensure you choose Glucosamine Hydrochloride
(HCL) for your pet. We specifically use this type of glucosamine as it is more concentrated and contains less sodium than other forms and is more efficiently absorbed by cats and dogs.

Chondroitin
Chondroitin sulphate is another natural substance found in the body in the cartilage around the joints, and it helps the joint cartilage from breaking down. Our Chondroitin is marine sourced and from sustainable sources. It is most beneficial when used in conjunction
with glucosamine, and both also have some anti-inflammatory effects that may account for pain relief.

Garlic & Fenugreek
Garlic has antibiotic, antiseptic, antiviral properties and anti-inflammatory compounds. Fenugreek Seeds also contain anti-inflammatory properties. Due to these valuable attributes, they help relieve the symptoms of arthritis. They also have the added advantage of increasing resistance to infections by stimulating the immune system.

Mixed Vegetable
Containing Watercress, Celery Seed, Horseradish, Celery Plant and Parsley, these herbs contain natural anti-histamine, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory compounds, and
thus help relieve the pain of arthritis, improving mobility particularly in older animals.

Cod Liver Oil
This valuable oil is made from the liver of the cod fish! It helps improve joint problems by keeping omega 3 fatty acids (which are powerful antioxidants) at an ideal level. It is also rich in vitamins A and D, essential for the absorption of calcium and to maintain strong healthy bones.
