We have recently reformulated this tablet for several reasons – on ethical grounds we have removed Golden Seal Root which is a protected species and instead this uncoated tablet now has the addition of Slippery Elm to soothe the digestion. We have also increased quantities of Ginger and Mint, ingredients that are traditionally used to soothe and comfort the digestive system.

As before the tablet contains Valerian and Rhubarb roots to help relax the digestion and relieve discomfort but is now an uncoated tablet to improve reaction time and to enable it to be more easily crushed if required. Digestive Supplement is effective to settle digestion problems in dogs and reduces flatulence and its unpleasant side effects!

The addition of the Valerian root in the formulation helps to calm and settle the stomach, making it helpful for those animals who are not apprehensive in vehicles but find the sensation upsets their tummies; they should be given about two hours before a journey.
